FAQs

If you Google or ask your PCP about the things I talk about here on this ChronicWellness page,

you might hear that this is exactly what they are talking about when they say things like “know your body” or “make diet and lifestyle changes”, or you may hear that it’s all “pseudoscience” and there aren’t enough tests proving that it all works.

I think we’re all more aware now that those in power in the USA don’t always have our best interest in mind. They censor education that doesn’t fit the mainstream narrative and they don’t even consider certain treatments for serious illnesses unless they can profit off of them. So it’s important to ask ourselves “who benefits from us not trying these treatments?”. We should acknowledge that a lot of their practices and pharmaceuticals were inspired by these ancient traditional herbal remedies.

Some of the nature ways of finding relief can seem “woo-woo”, “witchy”, or just plain weird. Keep an open mind and try something new. Here is a bit of information that may help you feel more informed about how this stuff works.

Does the water change colors even if my feet aren’t in it?

Yes, due to electrolysis - a chemical process where the metal electrode array in the salty water rusts rapidly when an electric current is applied - the water will turn a rusty orangish brown color whether your feet are in it or not. A lot of people use this occurance to claim that it’s all a scam. However, you can see a clear difference in what is floating in and on top of the water and the different colors (dark brown, green, bright orange) when the feet are in the water. The user also notices a lightness and relaxation and more clarity than before.

Is it safe?

For most people, this is a very safe device.

People who should not participate are:

-people who have a pacemaker

-if you have open wounds on your feet

-if you are severely deficient in minerals or severely dehydrated

-do not do it while drinking alcohol

How often should I use the ionic foot bath?

A first full detox protocol is usually 1 every 10 days for 4 sessions. Then once a month or so for maintenance. However, some people who have decades worth of toxic build up may need more sessions. I am currently recovering from Lyme Disease and have been using it every 10 days for years. I know I need to do a session when my migraines feel a certain way.

It’s great to use after a massage, Accupuncture, or chiropractic visit where toxins are released into the blood stream.

I am not a doctor. This is all for educational purposes. This is not medical advice. You should not stop taking any prescriptions without speaking to your doctor first.
